On 24 September 2026, the Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Center (Thai-MECC) held a contract signing ceremony with Marsun Public Company Limited for the construction of seven Fast Patrol Boats under Phase 2 of the project, at the Reception Room, Royal Thai Navy Headquarters, Wang Derm Palace.
Admiral Pairoj Fueangchan, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy and Deputy Director of Thai-MECC, and Mr. Patrawin Chongvisal, Chief Executive Officer of Marsun Public Company Limited, jointly signed the contract. Senior executives from the Royal Thai Navy, Thai-MECC, and the Company attended as witnesses.
The Phase 2 Fast Patrol Boat procurement project follows Phase 1, under which the Company has already constructed and delivered 15 vessels, with the first batch delivered on 19 March 2024.
The project aims to strengthen the capability of government agencies to prevent, suppress, and address threats affecting Thailand’s national maritime interests, including incidents and unlawful activities that may affect maritime operations, assistance to persons in distress, and other assigned missions.

The Fast Patrol Boat is approximately 12 metres in overall length and can achieve a speed of not less than 40 knots at full load. Powered by a water-jet propulsion system, it is designed to operate in Sea State 3 conditions and supports coastal and riverine missions both day and night.
